Purpose: Maintenance plays a key role in reducing costs, reducing machinery stoppage and increasing production capacity, improving quality and increasing productivity and reliability of machinery and thus achieving organizational goals. The main purpose of this research is to provide a framework for measuring and comparing the greenness of military industries. Methodology: In order to achieve the goals and answer the research questions, this research was conducted in two steps. In the first step, by studying the scientific literature and acquaintance of experts familiar with environmental issues, green maintenance of military equipment and equipments, optimal indicators of green maintenance and maintenance strategies were identified based on the extracted main dimensions and based on preparation of the first questionnaire. After collecting expert opinions, 6 main criteria for localization were selected. In the second step fuzzy hierarchical analysis process method was used to prioritize these criteria. Results: The results show that in the military industries, the criteria for using technology, equipment and machinery are less polluting for the environment, the criterion for controlling the production of hazardous gases such as ammonia and CO2, and the criteria for environmental training programs for employees. And the managers came in third.
