Equipment in their lifecycle degerades due to failures, environmental condition and instances and consequently they beome unready for operations. On the other hand the readiness of the equipment has a key role in managers and leaders decisions about the way to use equipment. Currently, for planning a mining project, just the readiness of the equipment is considered based on check lists and their future status is not taken in to account. While having a prediction of the equipment status during project time enable decision makers to plan more precisely and prevent shutdown in production or service procedure. In this research, initially failure behaviure of the equipment is modeled using weibull distribution and reliability of the equipment will be calculated during its life cycle. Afterwards, preventive maintenance planning will be indicated considering two objective namely cost and shutdown minimization under acceptable reliability level of the equipment as service level. The case study resuts show that the historical data affect maintence plan significantly.
